São Leopoldo/RS –   The Union of Metallurgical, Mechanical and Electrical and Electronic Material Manufacturers of São Leopoldo (Sindimetal), in partnership with Sebrae/RS, will be present in another edition of Mercopar – Subcontracting and Industrial Innovation Fair, which takes place October 6-9, in Caxias do Sul. The organization’s collective area project was presented at a meeting held at the Center of Industries, earlier this week in São Leopoldo. “We will take up an area of ??276m², located in Hall 2, hallways H, I, J and K, including 16 exhibiting companies,” said the executive secretary of Sindimetal, Paulo Ziegler, during the meeting. The meeting was attended by Luciano Rufatto and Rômulo Zambelli, Trade Fairs Feiras & Negócios, commercial representatives of the fair, and a number of entrepreneurs who will attend the event in Caxias do Sul. This will be the largest public space to be occupied by an entity during this edition.

According to the Executive Director of Sindimetal, Valmir Pizzutti, the organization takes part in the Mercopar since 2005. “The economic crisis we face in the country is certainly demanding an even greater effort of companies that, even with the entity’s support, need to invest to advertise their products and services,” said Pizzutti. “We hope that this commitment will contribute to leverage business and bring the necessary visibility for the participating companies”, he said. “The economy needs to move on and Mercopar has been a venue that has contributed positively to the prospect of business, always focused on potential customers,” adds the director.

Besides the exhibition of products and services, some companies are also registered to participate in the Business Rounds, which will take place simultaneously to the fair. The general expectation is of good contacts, as has been happening in recent years.
